 About Me

I’m a seasoned corporate storyteller and content strategist, certified coach and stage actor who specializes in deep 1:1 work. I work with professionals who are seeking deeper clarity, joy and fulfillment both professionally and personally. My philosophy is that we all have the ability to change the planet from wherever we sit right now - with the next action we take, story we tell, and thought we think.

illuminate

I’ve always been fascinated with light

Whether stars, spotlights, or candles, light holds magic, mystery and possibility. Light connects us directly to the essence of us and is at the heart of why Illuminate exists.

To supply or brighten with light
To make lucid or clear
To enlighten, as with knowledge
To make resplendent or illustrious

My professional storytelling work spans nearly three decades in the areas of strategic communication, narrative development and onstage and video coaching . I have coached executives and created communications programs for multi-billion-dollar companies including Adobe, Apple, Applied Materials, BILL, BlueScope, Cemex, NetApp, PepsiCo, Robert Half, ServiceNow, Teva, Twilio and Vertex. As a professional speaker and published writer, my body of work in corporate communications, stage acting, and coaching, provide a collective synthesis to help leaders and professionals determine their why, their what and their how, whether that is presenting publicly to audiences of 5,000, making critical changes within their team, or breaking down their own internal barriers to success, joy and fulfillment.

My undergraduate work is in Journalism (Cal Poly SLO) and I hold an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University. In addition to being a certified MBI coach, I have trained in voice with the renowned Kristin Linklater, the Enneagram Prison Project and am a Certified Sparketype Advisor.

I adore lemons. My organic, keto-friendly lemon curd is what I’m pretty sure laughter would taste like.
